Both tools actually can be used side by side for PM. Wikis can be used for collaboration to develop project information while blogs complement them offering PM a social front for discussion and knowledge sharing since wikis are not exactly social tools they are collaboration tools. Wikis, on the other hand, are OK (I was against them at first because of some bad experience using them).
